Davi Malveira Sector Specialist
Davi is a part of Perfin Equities’ equity research team since March 2020, being responsible for the healthcare, real estate, and aerospace sectors. He had worked for two years as a buy side associate at Santander Asset Management, also as an analyst covering the healthcare, construction, and aerospace sectors. Davi holds a degree in Civil-Aeronautics Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), served as president of ITA JR, and completed Summer Jobs at Ambev and Itaú.

Marcelo Inoue, CFA Sector Specialist
Marcelo is partner and joined Perfin Equities’ equity research tem in March 2019. He is responsible the main responsible for consumer goods and retail sectors. He previously worked in the export finance team at BNP Paribas, both in Paris and São Paulo, and as Citi Bank’s sell side analyst, initially as an associate in the food/beverage and agribusiness teams, and later as Vice President and leader of the capital goods sector. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of São Paulo’s Polytechnic School (Poli-USP) and École des Ponts in Paris, where he was the recipient of the Eiffel Excellence Program scholarship and is a CFA Charterholder since 2015.

Bruno Baptistella Investment team
Bruno is a part of Perfin Equities’ management team since April 2022. He had been a partner for Hedging Griffo for seven years, where he held several roles, such as trader, equity researcher, and fund manager. In 2008, he founded Brasil Capital. Bruno holds a degree in Business Administration from the São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV-EAESP). He specialized in Finance at the School of Business Administration, Accounting, and Actuarial Sciences (FEA-USP) and studied History at the College of Philosophy, Languages, and Human Sciences (FFLCH-USP).

Paulo Ghedini, CFA Co-manager
Paulo co-manages Perfin Equities and has been a partner and part of the investment teamsince 2015. He began his career at Merrill Lynch’s IB/M&A Latin America team in January 2001. He then joined Credit Suisse as VP of LatAm Salestrading until 2009, when he moved to Barclays Capital in London as a director to structure the LatAm Equities area in Europe. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV-EAESP), earned a master’s from Wharton’s MBA program, and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2006.

Alexandre Sabanai Co-gestor
Alexandre is Perfin Equities CIO and a partner since 2011 and in the equities team since then.He began his career as equity research analyst at Bank Boston in 2001. In 2005, he joined Unibanco as telecom equity researcher and was awarded by the Runner-up Team Award from Institutional Investor All-Brazil Research Team. In 2006, he joined RXZ Investimentos as partner and was responsible for structuring the equity research team, being Co-PM alongside Roberto Ruhman. Alexandre holds a degree in Business Administration from the São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV-EAESP).

Renata Picanço Financial Support
Renata has been a member of Perfin’s financial team since June 2021 and is responsible for financial reports of the investments. With over 14 years of experience in the financial area in infrastructure sector, she spent the last three years as a Finance Manager in the energy segment. Her expertise includes treasury, accounts payable and receivable, FP&A, M&A processes, structuring, as well as implementation of ERP systems. Renata holds a degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) and an Executive MBA in Business Management from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Renato Rolim de Souza Controlling
Renato has been a member of Perfin’s financial team in the accounting, tax and controlling area at since 2021. He has 10 years of experience in accounting, taxes, consolidation, and reporting of financial statements to Brazil’s Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM). He worked as an accounting assistant and analyst at Cyrela and at CPFL Renováveis and ISA CTEEP. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidade Paulista (UNIP) and in Accounting from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (UMC), with an active registration at the Regional Accounting Council of São Paulo (CRC-SP).

Ayla Candido Controlling
Ayla leads Perfin’s Controlling department. She has built a solid career in controlling accounting, cost, taxes and treasury areas in agribusiness, energy trading, logistics, port terminal, and construction companies. She worked as controller at companies such as Agribrasil, Lemarc Agromond, Nova Agri, and Agrovia, and managed accounting reports for the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) at Terra Santa Agro. She holds a degree in Literature from the University of Cariri (URCA), a postgraduate degree in Controlling from University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR), and an MBA in International Accounting (IFRS/CPC) from the Foundation Institute of Accounting, Actuarial, and Financial Research (FIPECAFI-FEA-USP).

Gabriela Souza Administrative and Financial
Gabriela is a member of Perfin’s financial team since 2020. She began her career in the financial area at Solera Brazil, a technology company specialized in automotive sector risk and asset management. She also worked at Mori Energia, building her career in the infrastructure sector. She holds a degree in Financial Management from the University of Santo Amaro (UNISA) and in Psychology from Universidade Paulista (UNIP). Additionally, she is certified in the People Management extension course by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Fabiana Traldi Administrative and Financial
Fabiana is a partner and works in Perfin’s administrative and controlling department since 2010. She began her career in the administrative control area of the trading desk at Unibanco. She worked in administrative management with the Vice President at Grupo Votorantim, having also worked at law firms Pinheiro Advogados and Traldi Advogados Associados, collaborating on legal and administrative routines. She holds a degree in Law from Osasco Law School (FIEO), with MBAs in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and People Management from the University of São Paulo (USP).

Henrique Oliveira Data Science
Henrique has been a Data Science analyst at Perfin since 2019, focused on process automation, systems engineering , internal controls, and generation of analytical reports, integrating the entire company. He is specialized in R programming language, use of Windows/Linux operating systems, cloud computing, and relational databases. He holds a degree in Forestry Engineering and a master’s degree in Forest Sciences, with emphasis on forest management from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), covering forest modeling for carbon capture and storage.

Nayara Milani Legal
Nayara has been a member of Perfin’s legal team since September 2020. She began her career in the Energy Law area at Bichara Advogados and later worked in the same sector at Raízen Energia. She holds a degree in Law from the São Bernardo do Campo Law School (FDSBC) and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law at the Institute of Research and Teaching (Insper).

Cecília Amaral Legal
Cecília joined Perfin’s Legal team in November 2022. In 2014, she began her career as an intern at Trindade Sociedade de Advogados in the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets department. She worked for eight years in the corporate and M&A department of Velloza Advogados Associados and Ulhôa Canto, Rezende e Guerra Advogados. She also served as Brazil’s Securities and Exchange Commission’s (CVM) President Marcelo Barbosa advisor. Cecília is a postgraduate professor at IBMEC and Faculdade Mineira de Direito. She holds a degree in Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from the Postgraduate Program at FGV Direito SP (GV-Law).

José Escudeiro Operations
Jardel has been a member of Perfin’s operations team since May 2020. He began his career in 2013 at KPMG and in 2014 worked in the Structured Funds Regulation area in Brazil’s Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM). In 2015, he led financial and accounting implementation projects in the Private Equity sector at MMAS Consultoria, and in 2018, he worked on market self-regulation and database control of Private Equity at AVBCAP. He holds a degree in Accounting from Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) and is currently pursuing a degree in Public Administration at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF).

Cristiano Santana Operations
Cristiano has been responsible for Perfin’s Middle-Office activities since 2018. He worked for 12 years as operations analyst at Schahin CCVM and at important securities brokerage firms, such as Trilha Investimentos, where he was responsible for fund’s financial reconciliation, mirror trading, contact with administrators, custodians, banks, and investors, among other activities. He holds degrees in Economics and Accounting from Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado (FECAP).

Roberto Pitondo Operations
Roberto a partner and Perfin's Operations manager since 2015. With over 20 years of experience, he had worked in the finance and controlling teams of Itaú BBA and Itaú-Unibanco, performing activities related to Risk Management, Treasury Position and Results Management, Commercial Spread, Investment Banking, Pricing, and Accounts Payable and Receivable. He holds a degree in Accounting from Faculdade Metropolitana Unidas (FMU) and an MBA in Financial Institutions Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Fabio Lopes Risk & Compliance
Fábio joined Risk & Compliance team at Perfin in2023 and has been responsible for the risk and compliance controls. With more than 20 years of experience, he began his career in 2003 as a Back Office Analyst at Bradesco. In 2005, he worked in Operations at Credit Suisse Hedging Griffo. In 2020, he joined ASA Investments as Risks Director and structured the company’s Risk Management and Compliance department, where he remained until June 2023. He holds a degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Education and Research (INSPER).

Marcela Brito Investor Relations
Marcela has been a member of Perfin’s Investor Relations team since April 2022. She had worked for more than 15 years at BNY Mellon, where she held the positions of Corporate Governance Manager, Project Manager, and Legal Manager, in addition to serving on Investment Committees, Boards, and Fiscal Council of Publicly Traded Companies. She then was Investor Relations Manager at the Apex Group. She holds a degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC.

Suzana Vescovi, CGA Investor Relations
Suzana is partner and has been a member of Perfin’s Investor Relations team since June 2017. She began her career in the Fund of Funds department at Itaú Asset Management, had worked for three years as a Funds operations analyst at BTG Pactual, was responsible for Due Diligence processes for fund managers and funds of diverse strategies. In addition, was responsible for the management of mirror funds at Original Asset Management. She holds a degree in Food Engineering from the College of Animal Science and Food Engineering (FZEA-USP) and possesses ANBIMA Manager certification (CGA).
